Founding-Team Interest — Equity-Based Opportunity. i.Wonder Laboratories is currently identifying prospective founding-team members. Cash salaries have not yet been established. These listings are expressions of interest in future positions, not offers to begin unpaid employment. Any work arrangement will require a legally compliant agreement. Future team members are expected to make a serious time commitment once employment arrangements are finalized.

The role

Produce a wide range of cinematic and promotional content for i.Wonder, Wonderland and Julius: cinematic game trailers and launch videos, gameplay demonstrations and feature showcases, character and environment cinematics, and short-form and long-form promotional videos. Using the tools that fit each shot, you’ll plan, animate, light, render and edit the work that introduces our products to players, creators and partners, delivered in HD and native 4K.

Why this role matters

This is a strategically important distribution position. High-quality cinematics and visual demonstrations will be among the primary ways i.Wonder reaches users across its distribution channels. The objective is to establish a consistent, high-quality cinematic production capability within i.Wonder, not to hire someone for a single trailer, so this role carries ongoing production responsibilities as Wonderland and Julius evolve.

Key responsibilities

  1. Cinematic trailers & launch videos: Produce high-quality cinematic game trailers and launch videos for Wonderland and Julius, from concept and storyboard to final edit.
  2. Gameplay demonstrations & feature showcases: Create gameplay demonstrations, feature showcases and promotional videos that show clearly and accurately what Wonderland and Julius do.
  3. Cinematic production: Build cinematics with the tools that fit the shot, including real-time engines such as Unreal Engine 5 and Sequencer where useful: shot layout, camera direction and movement, lighting, animation, VFX and cinematic rendering.
  4. Character & environment cinematics: Create character and environment cinematics featuring Wonderland and Julius, including 3D character animation of the AI companions and agents that live in Wonderland.
  5. Short-form & long-form video: Produce short-form and long-form promotional videos for i.Wonder’s distribution channels, delivered in HD and native 4K with the cutdowns and aspect ratios each channel needs.
  6. Editing: Edit professionally: pacing, music and sound sync, titles, color and final delivery.
  7. Ongoing cinematic production: Keep cinematic and promotional content current as Wonderland and Julius evolve: build a reusable pipeline (shot templates, lighting setups, render presets) and work with engineering and design so footage reflects the real, current state of the products.

Required experience

  • 3D character animation.
  • Lighting, VFX and cinematic rendering.
  • Camera direction.
  • Video editing (for example Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or After Effects).
  • A strong professional portfolio. A portfolio that shows visually impressive cinematic work, such as game trailers, launch films, gameplay showcases or real-time cinematics, is required; applications without one won’t be considered.
  • Experience delivering in HD and native 4K.

Preferred experience

None of these are required.

  • Unreal Engine 5 and Sequencer for real-time cinematics.
  • Credits on shipped game trailers, launch campaigns or product films.
  • Motion capture cleanup, or retargeting in Unreal.
  • Real-time compositing, color grading or sound design.
  • Interest in AI-assisted creation and agent systems.

About i.Wonder

i.Wonder Laboratories, Inc. builds multiplayer open-world AI creation platforms, and researches, develops and deploys Compound AI Systems and Compound AI Agents. Our thesis is that AI creation should not end when a chat window closes: people and Compound AI Agents should be able to build, collaborate, compete, create software and maintain what they make, together, over time, inside a persistent world.

Wonderland is our flagship platform: a persistent multiplayer open world for AI creation, designed so that AI-powered creation and real software development happen in the same place as collaboration, competition and play. Wonderland is in active development.

Julius is our flagship Compound AI Agent and the intelligence inside Wonderland. It governs three permanent tiers — a Prompt Architect (a large language model), a Coding Agent (an agentic coding system) and an Independent Reviewer (an independent agent harness) — and every tier reads from and writes to Project Brain, Julius’s durable memory. Work is finished when independent review and verification say so, not when an agent says it is.

What to know about this stage

i.Wonder is an early-stage company. Wonderland and Julius are in active development, and the descriptions of them here are their intended design, not a report of finished features. The research papers set out the architecture and the evidence still to be gathered.
