The role
Grow the i.Wonder brand, take Wonderland to its first waves of users, and help establish i.Wonder and Wonderland culturally — through creators, communities, partnerships, launch campaigns, and social and content that show what people build.
What you’ll do
- Grow the i.Wonder brand: shape how i.Wonder, Wonderland and Julius are seen and talked about, and keep the story consistent across every channel.
- Plan and run the distribution of Wonderland, from early access to its first public launches.
- Acquire Wonderland’s first waves of users, and turn early-access sign-ups into people who create and come back.
- Find, recruit and support the first creators and communities building in Wonderland, and grow those communities over time.
- Market i.Wonder’s AI and technology — Wonderland and Julius — accurately and in plain language to creators, developers and players.
- Own social and content strategy: grow i.Wonder’s social presence and produce content that shows what people actually make in Wonderland.
- Source and run creator partnerships, and partnerships with communities, platforms and other companies.
- Plan and execute launch campaigns across social, content, community and partner channels.
- Lead outreach to gaming and AI communities, meeting players, builders and AI enthusiasts where they already gather.
- Help establish i.Wonder and Wonderland culturally: the moments, stories and shared language that make Wonderland a place people want to be part of.
- Measure acquisition and activation, and turn what the numbers show into the next experiment.
The technical challenges
- Explaining a new kind of product — a persistent multiplayer world for AI creation — without overclaiming what is still in development.
- Building a creator community before the platform is finished, and keeping its trust.
- Finding the channels that bring the first users who stay, not only the first users.
What success looks like
- Wonderland’s first waves of users arrive through channels we can measure and repeat.
- An active early creator community is producing and sharing work made in Wonderland.
- i.Wonder and Wonderland have a recognizable voice and presence in gaming and AI communities.
- Launch campaigns and partnerships ship on schedule, and what each one achieved is documented.
Required qualifications
- A track record of growing a product, brand or community, with results you can show.
- Experience running social and content channels and producing content people share.
- Experience planning and executing launch campaigns.
- Comfort with data: setting up tracking, reading results and acting on them.
- Clear, honest writing about technical products.
Preferred qualifications
None of these are required.
- Experience in creator economies, gaming or game communities.
- Marketing AI or developer-facing technology products.
- Existing relationships with creators, communities or partner platforms.
- Community building on Discord, X, YouTube, TikTok or Twitch.
- Experience at an early-stage startup.
About i.Wonder
i.Wonder Laboratories, Inc. builds multiplayer open-world AI creation platforms, and researches, develops and deploys Compound AI Systems and Compound AI Agents. Our thesis is that AI creation should not end when a chat window closes: people and Compound AI Agents should be able to build, collaborate, compete, create software and maintain what they make, together, over time, inside a persistent world.
Wonderland is our flagship platform: a persistent multiplayer open world for AI creation, designed so that AI-powered creation and real software development happen in the same place as collaboration, competition and play. Wonderland is in active development.
Julius is our flagship Compound AI Agent and the intelligence inside Wonderland. It governs three permanent tiers — a Prompt Architect (a large language model), a Coding Agent (an agentic coding system) and an Independent Reviewer (an independent agent harness) — and every tier reads from and writes to Project Brain, Julius’s durable memory. Work is finished when independent review and verification say so, not when an agent says it is.
What to know about this stage
i.Wonder is an early-stage company. Wonderland and Julius are in active development, and the descriptions of them here are their intended design, not a report of finished features. The research papers set out the architecture and the evidence still to be gathered.
